The A model AR50/80 primary drive has a damper. The clutch basket is bolted on to the gearbox shaft and has a separate kickstart gear.
The C model primary drive gear is held on with a key, washer and nut. The clutch basket has the kick start gear attached to it and its all held on with circlips.
The C6 model is a hybrid of the A and the C. It uses the c model crank and primary drive. It has a unique clutch basket that is bolt on like the A model but has the right size ring gear to work with the c model primary drive.
The A model clutch is not compatible with the C model primary drive and vice verse. However if running a C crank in an A bottom end the the C6 basket can be used.
